On November 11th, 2008, Mikey Wax's debut album "Change Again" ranked at #68 on the iTunes U.S. top 100 pop albums chart! This is a great accomplishment for an independent singer/songwriter.

11.15.08 | Mikey Wax featured on the Almighty Jukebox!
Mikey Wax's Song "In Case I Go Again" was recently featured on www.almightyjukebox.com. The site selected only 12 artists/bands to be on their "new music to the industry" page. Almgihty jukebox was founded by Clark Benson, most known for his discovery of Neil Young & Crazy Horse. Go check it out!

10.27.08 | Mikey Wax To Appear On CBS
Mikey Wax will be playing segments of three songs from his debut album live on CBS12 on November 16th, in West Palm Beach, Florida! This performance will reach over 50,000 viewers. If you are in the Florida area, be sure to watch it! We will post the video of the performance if you can't catch it live.

10.02.08 | Song From Up-coming Debut Album To Be Played on WMJC Radio Show!
A song from Mikey Wax's upcoming debut album will be featured on 94.3FM WMJC unlabeled radio show on Sunday, October 5th at around 10 PM. Tune in at wmjcfm.com and check it out! Or if you are from Long Island, New York, you can listen on the radio!

06.17.08 | Scene from Indie Film "Goodnight Elizabeth" featuring Mikey's Original "Nice to Meet You" now on youtube!
The last scene from the new independent film "Goodnight Elizabeth" (directed by Bradley Gallo-http://www.Reellifestudios.com) is now on youtube! The scene features an original song "Nice To Meet You," by Mikey Wax. This song will be on his up-coming debut album due out this summer. The album will be available on iTunes.

05.16.08 | Mikey Wins South Florida's WRMF 97.9 Unsigned Artist Competition
Mikey has won the unsigned artist contest hosted by leading radio station WRMF in South Florida. The contest allowed contestants to submit just one song. One finalist was selected each week for 9 weeks. More than 10,000 votes were cast by WRMF 97.9 listeners. Mikey's "In Case I Go Again" was voted as a top 3 finalist. On Friday May 16th, the finalists were played live on the air for three top music executives located throughout the US. The executives gave their opinions and selected Mikeys song to be the winner.

04.29.08 | Mikey's Music to be Featured in Up-coming Indie Film
Several songs from Mikey's up-coming debut album will be featured in the soon to be released indie film "Goodnight Elizabeth." More info coming soon...

04.11.08 | Mikey Wax Named Unsigned Artist of the Week by 97.9 WRFM In South Florida!
Mikey, along with hundreds of other applicants, were allowed to submit just one song for the unsigned Idol contest held by South Florida's 97.9 WRMF morning hosts Jennifer & Danny. Mikey submitted "In case I Go Again". The radio station would select a song to be played each weekday morning and have it critiqued by 3 judges. The artist with the most points would be declared the weekly winner from the 5 songs played during each week. Mikey's 'In case I Go Again' won for the week ending April 11th, 2008! Currently, there have been 9 weekly finalists. Now is the voting stage. Click the link to the right to vote for Mikey! On May 16th, the top 3 most voted artists will be listened to by record A&R representatives. These representatives will decide the grand prize winner for best song by an unsigned artist.
