Mikey Wins South Florida's WRMF 97.9 Unsigned Artist Competition

Mikey has won the unsigned artist contest hosted by leading radio station WRMF in South Florida. The contest allowed contestants to submit just one song. One finalist was selected each week for 9 weeks. More than 10,000 votes were cast by WRMF 97.9 listeners. Mikey's "In Case I Go Again" was voted as a top 3 finalist. On Friday May 16th, the finalists were played live on the air for three top music executives located throughout the US. The executives gave their opinions and selected Mikeys song to be the winner.
